My name is Kristin and I’m wife to my soul-mate, JCW, mother of a very talkative and pony-loving daughter, follower of Jesus, lover of all things natural, seeker of joy and naturally broken. I grew up in a family affected by the -isms ( alcoholism & gambling, in particular) which set a blueprint for my interactions with others.  I married a wonderful man who happens to have struggled with the -isms himself and has found recovery.  Now it’s my turn – my journey to recovery and healing.  I hope you’ll join me as I try to find my way in this world, and run my race….

Here are a few tidbits about me:

  • I prefer to be barefooted (socks seem so confining)…
  • I believe that grooming a pony is one of the world’s greatest stress -relievers – try it, you’ll see 😉
  • I will break into a canter when I’m excited about something ( imagine a grown woman skip-cantering down the hallway!)
  • I love to eat frosting out of the tub with a spoon….and it needs to be cold!
  • I have a crazy fascination with the movie, “Harold & Maude”…
  • I’m a visual learner, so when I read, I typically have a highlighter and/or pen in my hand…
  • I’m an introvert in most settings, but I can talk your ear off if I know you well…
  • My favorite colors are all bright – pink, green & blue

Take off your shoes, pull up a chair and stay a while…. if you were at my house, I would ask you to join me at the cozy firepit with a warm beverage…ahh…because that’s where the real conversations take place

P.S. Those are my personal bracelets in my cover photo. If you like them, check out http://www.mymantraband.com!
